Description and details

The S05 marks the second unit from the Manda Yachts shipyard, following the brand's design philosophy. A yacht designed for living in close contact with the sea. An original concept in terms of typology and style, it features an open main deck with spacious indoor and outdoor living spaces. A large, full-beam window at the stern connects the dinette to the outdoors, creating a seamless connection with nature. One of the vessel's strengths is the large, open outdoor living spaces that would only be possible on larger boats. The design is contemporary, featuring an inverted bow. The hull lines were designed and validated with CFD calculations to achieve excellent seakeeping and cruising comfort, with a dry hull on deck. A defining feature is a very deep V-shaped bow for excellent wave cutting and passage, which combines with the wide stern exits for good lift and low resistance even at low speeds in displacement mode. A hull with an exterior design that evokes strength and conveys confidence, yet is simultaneously soft and harmonious in its lines. The project draws on a conceptual idea sketched by Giovanni Ceccarelli for the S07, which was then developed throughout the conceptual and executive design stages, yet never losing sight of the original lines. Two interior versions are planned: *a version with an aft dinette, one owner's cabin with a large bathroom with a separate shower and toilet, and a guest cabin with a bathroom.
