CBS Piviere 750 – Year 1978 A classic design with a strong seagoing vocation. The CBS Piviere 750, built in 1978, is a traditional sailing cabin cruiser, designed according to criteria of structural strength, dimensional stability, and ease of handling. Underway, it stands out for its balanced and predictable behavior, with good transverse stability, consistent trim at different speeds, and a progressive and direct response to the helm. The boat bearing production number 48 has undergone a complete refit, with repainting of the top and bottom works, a revised sail rig, and complete restoration of the interior woodwork, giving new life to this historic vessel. With an overall length of 7.50 meters, the Piviere 750 offers an excellent compromise between compact size, habitability, and seaworthiness, placing it among the most successful compact cabin cruisers in its category. EXTERIOR: The laminated fiberglass hull features full shapes and a hull section designed to ensure stability, directionality, and seakeeping. The significant displacement in relation to the length contributes to a balanced trim and good ability to hold course even in challenging conditions. The cockpit is well-sized, protective, and functional, with an organization that allows for safe maneuvers. The tiller steering ensures direct and sensitive steering, giving the owner a clear perception of the hull's behavior. The complete rig, including mainsail, genoa, and spinnaker, is designed for easy handling even with a short crew, thanks also to the furling jib, and for enjoying small regattas. The cockpit cushions are designed to also be used as bow sundecks. INTERIOR: The interiors reflect an essential and functional design, typical of boats of that era. The central dinette, comfortable for two people, hides a convenient retractable hob for daytime use and a fold-out table that can accommodate up to 6 people. Towards the bow, on the port side, there is a comfortable bathroom, with the particularity of the sink that, by sliding between the bulkhead, can serve both the bathroom itself and the kitchen; on the starboard side, a convenient wardrobe, leading to the V-shaped master cabin.
